The Women Development Cell (WDC) aims to promote awareness of gender equality and gender sensitization

• To sensitize students about issues of gender parity To create awareness amongst girl students about various opportunities available

The Women Empowerment Forum (WEF), set up under Gender Champions mandated by the University Grants Commission (UGC), is a student-led collective that supports the WDC and organizes several activities throughout the year. These activities range from conducting menstruation awareness drives and self-defense workshops to organizing talks and discussions related to gender sensitization and career choices.
