Admission is purely through CET basis and the candidate should participate in Centralized Admission Process CAP). It is subject to availability of seats as per the directions issued by the University of Mumbai and the Governments of Maharashtra from time to time. A transparent admission procedure is followed strictly based on the standard norms. Any modification in admission guidelines will be notified on the college notice board at the time of admission.

Eligibility for Admission:

An applicant who has Graduated/Post Graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by a State legislature or an equivalent national institution recognized as a Deemed to University or foreign University recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence, may apply for a three years’ degree program in law leading to conferment of LL.B. degree on successful completion of the regular program conducted by a University whose degree in law is recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment.

Minimum Marks In Qualifying Examination To Apply for Admission

Bar Council of India, may from time to time, stipulate the minimum percentage of marks for admission. Not below 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants, to be obtained for the qualifying examination, degree course in any discipline for three years LL.B. course, for the purpose of applying for and getting admitted into a Law degree Program of any recognized University in either of the streams according to merit. A Student From Any Other University:

Seeking admission to any of the courses will be considered for provisional admission at his/her own risk only on production of a “Provisional Certificate of Eligibility” from the University of Mumbai on payment of requisite fees. Moreover, the necessary certificates before the end of the term; otherwise, the admission will be treated as invalid. For further details in this behalf reference should be made to the Registrar, University of Mumbai.

A Student Migrating From Any Other Constituent College of The Mumbai University:

Shall produce a “Transfer Certificate” to be obtained from the college last attended. The Transfer Certificate application form should be obtained from the college at the time of admission and should be submitted to the college last attended. It will be the sole responsibility of the student to obtain “Transfer Certificate” from the previous college and submit it to the College office within the stipulated period.

Admission Requirements:

Admission must be taken by student in person, by submitting the following documents: (Original and Three Self attested Copies)

  1. Original Allotment Letter issued by the State CET Cell.
  2. Original CET Score card and CET Hall ticket.
  3. Std. X Mark sheet & Passing Certificate.
  4. School Leaving Certificate.
  5. Std. XI Mark sheet.
  6. Std. XII Mark sheet & Passing Certificate
  7. Std. XII Leaving Certificate
  8. First year second year and third year graduation mark sheet
  9. Degree mark sheets (All Semester), Degree Passing Certificate, Degree Certificate- for 3 Year Course.
  10. Transfer Certificate.
  11. If the student is from other than Maharashtra State Board, he/she should submit the following additional documents:-
    1. Original Migration Certificate from the Board/University which he/she passes the examination and an attested photocopy thereof.
    2. Copy of the Provisional Eligibility Certificate and Enrollment Registration Form from the University of Mumbai, duly signed.
    3. Provisional Eligibility fee of Rs. 390/- to be paid in cash at the time of admission.
    4. Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, Non Creamy Layer Certificate if applicable.
    5. Domicile Certificate/ Birth Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate mentioning Place of Birth.
    6. Two (2) recent passport size photographs. (One photograph to be affixed on the Admission Form)
  12. In case of a student from a college affiliated to the University of Mumbai, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from that college.
  13. Foreign students seeking admissions should produce their passport & student’s visa at the time of admissions. Student on tourist visa will not be admitted to the college.
  14. Married female students should produce attested true photocopy of marriage certificate or in case of
    change of name, they should produce an affidavit and an attested true photocopy of gazette publication.
  15. Undertaking to attend a minimum of 75% of the total number of lectures held during each semester as per University Regulations.
  16. Principal should be informed in writing about any change in the information submitted by the student in the admission form.
  17. If subsequently it is found out that any statement of the applicant is incorrect or false, his/her admission is liable to be cancelled without refund of fees.
  18. Students from Universities other than the University of Mumbai will be admitted provided that the examinations of the other Universities are considered equivalent and are subject to the provisions of eligibility conditions of the University of Mumbai.
  19. Student should produce gap certificate.

(Important Note: – Original documents, along with the prescribed fees to be submitted as per the provisional admission schedule put up on the college notice board from time to time. Students shall be informed to submit additional documents to the college as and when required by the Department of Higher Education.)

If it is subsequently found that any of the statements made by the candidate in the admission form are incorrect the admission will be cancelled and there will be no refund of fees. All admissions are subject to the approval by the University of Mumbai. The right of admission is reserved with the Principal and the Management. Fees are payable by Demand Draft/Credit Card/Debit Card/Payment Gateway.
